Whether you are publishing your first eBook or expanding your author portfolio, Pooky Books helps simplify the journey with publishing, promotional, and paperback services designed to help your book reach more readers.
We founded Pooky Books on a single conviction: an expertly written, beautifully designed, strategically marketed eBook is one of the most leveraged assets a modern expert can own. It opens doors. It compounds trust. It sells while you sleep.
Most agencies treat books like ordinary products. We treat them as one-of-a-kind authority engines built to position you at the top of your industry, attract readers, grow a global fan base, and open the door to high-value partnerships.
From the first ghostwritten chapter to a launch campaign across Amazon, Audible, and Apple Books, every word, cover, and ad is built to do one thing: make you and your writing impossible to ignore.
Most agencies optimize for volume. We optimize for the work. Here's what you'll never see on a Pooky invoice.
Generic AI-written drafts passed off as your "voice"
Senior ghostwriters who match your voice in two sample chapters
Junior bait-and-switch staffing after the pitch
The senior you met is the senior who does the work
Stock cover templates from a marketplace
Bespoke design from an art director with 50+ shipped covers
Marketing for marketing's sake — clicks, impressions, vanity
Performance-accountable campaigns tied to your author P&L
Writing, editing, cover design, publishing, marketing, audiobooks, author websites, and print-on-demand services — coordinated under one roof.
NYT-style ghostwriters craft your voice into a 35k–80k word manuscript that reads like you on your best day.
Developmental, line, and copy edits from Big-5 veterans. We sharpen arguments and tighten prose without killing your voice.
Award-winning designers build covers that win on a 90×140 thumbnail — and interior layouts that feel like a keepsake.
We handle ISBNs, distribution, metadata, and global rollout to Amazon, Apple, Kobo, Google Play, B&N, and 400+ stores.
Targeted campaigns that move units. Amazon Ads, Meta, Google, newsletter swaps, podcasts, and influencer drops.
Studio-grade narration distributed to Audible, Spotify, and Apple Books. AI + human hybrid for fast, flawless delivery.
Custom author platforms that own the audience — beyond Amazon's rented traffic. Email capture, funnels, booking pages.
Hardcover and paperback editions printed on demand, shipped globally. No inventory, no waste, no compromise on quality.
Pooky Books’ tried-and-tested four-step framework has been refined across 850+ titles. We do not wing it; we run a sprint.
We deep-dive into your expertise, audience, and goals. Market research, reader profiles, competitive analysis, and a 12-week plan are developed before a single chapter is drafted.
Your senior ghostwriter drafts in chapters delivered every seven days for live feedback. Developmental and line-editing rounds refine the manuscript into work you are proud to publish.
Cover concepts, interior layouts, audio narration, and global distribution setup move forward. Every format is prepared and every store listing is optimized.
Pre-orders, Amazon Ads, launch-team outreach, podcast appearances, PR placements, and newsletter partnerships work together to support a focused release.
Three authors. Three launch stories. The honest arithmetic of what a Pooky book looks like 90 days after delivery.
Came in with a head full of LinkedIn posts. Left with a #1 Amazon bestseller — out-selling the next three books in the category combined.
Chapter 6 went viral on LinkedIn. Two founders reached out and signed $250k consulting engagements within a fortnight. Book paid for itself twice over.
Speaker-to-author pipeline. Book launched into a category where he was a nobody. Six months later: bestseller, 47 inbound leads, three board offers.
"Pooky didn't just write my book — they built me a category. Three months post-launch I had 47 inbound leads from one chapter that went viral on LinkedIn."
"I came in with a vague idea and a head full of LinkedIn posts. They turned it into a #1 Amazon bestseller and helped me land two $250k consulting contracts."
"I'd worked with three agencies before. Pooky is the only one that actually cared about the book becoming a business asset, not just a deliverable."
Professional files, metadata, and distribution support for the leading eBook, audiobook, and print marketplaces.
Every package is white-glove, fixed-fee, and built around a single outcome: a book that earns its place on your shelf and in your market.
Most agencies guess. We measure. Here is the exact process we use to find a ghostwriter who sounds like you — and how long it really takes.
A teardown of how 47 of our last 120 launches went #1 in their Amazon category — and the three things every launch since has had in common.
